My experience with the product:

Packaging:  Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C dark spot serum comes in a yellow color frosted glass bottle with pump packaging. It has a light green plastic cap to it.

Colour and texture:  This serum is yellow in color and has a thick transparent gel-like texture and a sticky feel to it. However, it doesn't feel sticky on the skin once absorbed.

Fragrance:  It has a very mild fragrance that is barely noticeable. Though it has many essential oils, I am assuming those are in very little percentage and won't affect or irritate your skin.

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C dark spot serum Review

Who is this for?  This serum is for you if you are a beginner to Vitamin C. This is for people with all skin types and sensitive skin type who wants to effectively reduce dark spots, pigmentation and brighten the skin. (My skin type is oily and sensitive, this serum suits me well)

First impression:  The serum felt sticky initially but once absorbed into the skin felt very light on the skin and is non-sticky at all. Goes well under sunscreen and makeup. Didnt irritate my skin. (If it irritates your skin, try using it on alternate days, if irritation persists discontinue the use.)

How long I have been using it?  I have been using it for a month now. I use it in the morning skincare routine and on alternative days in the night skincare routine.

How I like to use it? I cleanse my face with The Faceshop Rice water bright foaming cleanser. Then I like to use a toner and cosrx snail mucin essence. Then I like to use the Green Tangerine Vita C serum and massage it gently till it gets absorbed. And follow it up with Etude house Soon Jung emulsion as a moisturizer. I prefer using it in the morning skincare routine because the combination of vitamin C and sunscreen is amazing.

Effects on my skin:  I have used this serum for a month now. This makes my skin bright and glowy with every application. Doesn't make my skin oily or greasy.  Makes skin bright and helps to fade dark spots. My dark spots started fading away after 2 weeks of usage. However, there is no drastic difference.  It only works on my new spots. Faded them to some extent. Maybe continuous usage may help to fade away spots permanently. I'll update you regarding that later. But this serum doesn't work on old and darker spots.

Will I repurchase it? Maybe not, because I find it expensive for the quantity and the results it provides.

Do I recommend it? I recommend it for people with sensitive skin type who wants to include (beginners) Vitamin C serum in their skincare routine.  If you want to get rid of new spots.

Conclusion:

  • Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C serum has 70% of the Green tangerine extract.
  • Suits all skin types. Suits my oily sensitive skin well.
  • Gentle on the skin. However, if your skin is very sensitive, use it on alternate days.
  • Best vitamin C serum for beginners.
  • Makes skin bright and glowy.
  • Works really well when used in the morning skincare routine.
  • Never skip sunscreen while using this serum.
  • Starts fading away dark spot in 2 weeks. But takes longer to show better results.
  • It may not work on older and darker spots.
  • Don't use any other active ingredient with this, it might react and irritate your skin.
  • It is awarded as Maccaron's Best serum 2020.
