About the brand:

Deyga is an Indian brand. All the products from this brand are formulated with amazing and 100% natural and pure ingredients to give your skin what it actually needs. Their products are formulated without any harmful chemicals, preservatives, or fragrance. That's an additional plus point about this amazing brand. They use traditional recipes to formulate the products.
They have a variety of products for skincare, haircare, body care (soaps, massage oils, deodorants and loofah) oral care, baby care, essential oils, hand sanitizers and they also have products for men (men bath soap, beard care, powder and shampoo bar). 

Ingredients:

Almond oil, Avacado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea butter, Beetroot extract, Beeswax.

Key ingredients:

The website or the packaging did not mention key ingredients separately. Since the name of the lip balm itself is beetroot lip balm, the key ingredient has to be beetroot.
But why beetroot? Beetroot is said to have bleaching properties that can lighten dark lips. Beetroot also has nourishing properties that make lips soft and supple.

Directions for use:

Take a small amount on your fingertips and apply to lips spreading evenly.


Claims:

  • Leaves a subtle shine on the lips
  • It makes the lips soft and supple
  • Heals the cuts on the lips caused due to dryness.

Caution:

Since this product contains natural and safe ingredients only and no harmful chemicals, there are no cautions as such. However, a patch test is recommended.

My experience with the product:

Packaging: Deyga beetroot lip balm comes in a silver color tin container with a screw cap. It has labels with the product name and necessary details. The packaging is very sturdy and looks great. It is travel friendly.

Colour and texture: It has a pinkish-red color. The texture of this lip balm light and feels good on the lips.

Fragrance: Doesn't contain artificial fragrance. It smells of the natural ingredients present in the product.

First impression: The packaging looks great. I didn't like how it smells at the first use, got used to it later. It added subtle shine to my lip but didn't feel heavy on the lips. The lip balm looks red in color but doesn't add color to the lips.

How I use it? I use it as part of my skincare routine both in the morning and at night. At night, I apply 3-4 layers of this lip balm for extra hydration. I also use it whenever my lips feel dry. I apply this lip balm 4 or max 5 times a day.

Effects on my lips: I am using this lip balm for 20 days now. This lip balm does what it claims. This lip balm hydrates my lips really well. It made my lips soft after I started using it. I apply a thick layer of this lip balm at night and wake up with hydrated, soft, and supple lips in the morning. This lip balm keeps lips hydrated for a long time and doesn't need frequent reapplication. This lip balm doesn't feel heavy on the lips and doesn't irritate the lips when applied in a thick layer. I like this lip balm and will definitely repurchase it.

Do I recommend it? I totally recommend this lip balm, especially for people with dry and chapped lips.
